Heavy periods of rain, windy and mild

Good morning,

A wet morning for much of England Wales and Scotland. Heavy periods of rain, most of this affect western parts of the country. Brighter with showers in Ireland, most of these in the west. Windy with gales in England and eastern Scotland. Mild for all.
 

Staying wet for the first part of this afternoon. The rain will be turning more showery in England and Wales although it is likely to be remaining wet in Scotland. Brighter weather spreads from the west with some showers. Cloud and further periods of rain in western Ireland later.

Wet again in the west tonight with the winds increasing again. Drier in the east.
