Colder next week with windy weather and an increasing risk of drizzle and rain

Temperatures are going to be falling through the weekend with conditions becoming cold into next week. The winds will be increasing and there is the threat of some rain and drizzle spreading from the east. A risk of some more persistent rain in the middle of the week.

Monday 19/11/18
High pressure to the north of Scotland on Monday. It is going to be windy with more cloud being blown in from the east. There will be some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Western areas are likely to be brighter with some bright or sunny spells here, the best of the sunshine in Ireland. Temperatures at 5 to 8C.

Tuesday 20/11/18
The flow is likely to become more northeasterly through Tuesday. Cloud affecting northern and eastern areas where there could be some spots of rain and drizzle too. Brighter in the west with sunny spells. Cold again at 5 to 8C.


 
 
 

Wednesday 21/11/18
Staying cold again through Wednesday with the winds remains northeasterly. There will be cloud, most again in the east where there could be outbreaks of rain too. Western areas tending to be brighter with sunny spells developing here. The rain may become more persistent in the east. Highs at 5 to 8C.
 

Thursday 22/11/18
An area of low pressure may cross the country from east to west on Thursday. This brings the possibility of more persistent rain for many, most of it in the east. The rain eventually affecting almost all areas. Cold with tops of 4 to 7C.

Friday 23/11/18
Low pressure remains over the country on Friday. There will be cloud and outbreaks of rain, most in Scotland and Ireland. Murky in England, Wales and Ireland with some spots of drizzle. Highs at 7 to 9C.

Saturday 24/11/18
Lower pressure again over the country. This brings outbreaks of rain and drizzle and lots of mist and murk. Highs at 8 to 11C.
