Sunday 26/9/21
A front bringing some rain through western Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland on Sunday. For England and Wales and much of Scotland it is likely to be dry overall, although with a fair a mount of cloud and cannot rule out some showers developing through the day here. There will be some breaks in the cloud in central and eastern areas allowing for some bright or sunny spells to develop here. Warm again in England, Wales and east Scotland at 20 to 23C, cooler across west Scotland and Northern Ireland with highs at 15 to 18C.

Monday 27/9/21
A front passes east on Monday taking rain with it across England, Wales and Scotland. This is going to clear and introduce much fresher, drier conditions. Sunny spells developing with some showers over western coasts and hills. A breezier day for all. Highs at a fresher 11 to 17C for most, perhaps a tad milder in the southeast.

Tuesday 28/9/21
Low pressure close by to Ireland will bring outbreaks of rain to Ireland, Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and southwestern regions of England. Rather a lot of cloud across England generally but elsewhere, expect drier and brighter conditions. A chilly start across Scotland. Highs at 14 to 18C although cooler still further west.

Wednesday 29/9/21
Low pressure controls the weather again through Wednesday. A chilly start nationwide is expected while rain will clear eastern areas first thing to see drier conditions behind, although expect showers, the heaviest in the north and west. Fewer showers in the east and south with the best of the sunshine here. A breezy day for most, windy towards the northwest. Highs at 12 to 17C.

Thursday 30/9/21
Still a mobile flow across the country with low pressure still being dominant. Staying rather breezy so expect blustery showers, these heavier and most frequent across northwest Scotland. A system looks like it may just push cloud and rain across Wales and England through the day too. Highs at 13 to 17C.

Friday 01/10/21
A brief ridge on Friday morning looks to collapse in the north as low pressure moves in bringing spells of heavy rain potentially to Scotland, northern England and Wales, clearing Ireland and Northern Ireland. A dry though cloudy day further south. Highs at a milder 16 to 18C.
