Rain, mist and murk, cold at first then milder next week

An unsettled week with periods of rain. It is going to be chilly at first and there is a risk of flooding. Becoming misty and murky through the weekend, before a change of pressure pattern next week when milder air arrives. Expect more rain during next week, most of it in the west and south.

Saturday 16/11/19
Low pressure east of the UK on Saturday. Cloud and rain in eastern parts of England. Western parts should be drier with broken cloud and some sunny spells. It may be rather misty for a while before slowly lifting to leave brighter weather. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in western Ireland western Scotland. Temperatures at 5 to 9C.

Sunday 17/11/19
A slacker pressure flow on Sunday. There will be a fair amount of cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle too, most in the north and west. Rather misty and murky, although there could be an odd brighter spell in the east if England. A risk of some snow over the Grampians and Southern Uplands. Highs at 5 to 10C.
 

Monday 18/11/19
Rain may affect eastern coasts again on Monday. Misty elsewhere with broken cloud and a few spots of drizzle. There could be a few brighter spells here and there. Rain too in western Ireland. Tops at 6 to 8C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 19/11/19
Low pressure to the west of Ireland. Fronts pass through the UK and Ireland bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. The most persistent rain in more western and southern areas. Plenty of mist around too. Highs at 5 to 11C.

Wednesday 20/11/19
Pressure stays low on Wednesday. The low pressure is likely to be ust west of Ireland. This brings further periods of rain, some of it heavy. Windy too at 9 to 12C.

Thursday 21/11/19
Low pressure remains bringing another unsettled day. There will be rain, showers and strong winds, most rain in the west and south. Highs at 8 to 12C.
