Cloud and rain, heavy in the east next week, feeling cold

Staying unsettled through the coming week. Low pressure will be in control bringing rain and showers. There is the risk of some snow over the hills of northern England and Scotland. The potential for some heavy rain in the east next week. Temperatures staying cold.

Friday 8/11/19
Low pressure to the east of England on Friday with a northerly flow affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland. Eastern parts of England will have some showers and cloudier skies here. A few showers in eastern Scotland too. More western areas are likely to be brighter and drier with some reasonable spells of sunshine. Feeling chilly for all. Highs at 5 to 9C.

Saturday 9/11/19
Another area of low pressure moving into Ireland and pushing fronts into western areas. This brings stronger winds and rain here during the day, some of the rain heavy. The rain turning to snow over the hills of northern England and Scotland. Eastern and central areas starting misty and murky, but turning brghter and staying dry the rain arrives later. Highs at 4 or 5C in Scotland and northern England, 9C in southern England.

Sunday 10/11/19
Pressure stays low and the day remains mcold on Sunday. More showers or outbreaks of rain, mostly in central and northern areas. brighter in the west with sunny spells. Highs at 5 to 8C.

 
 
 

Monday 11/11/19
Pressure stays low on Monday, although winds are likely to be light. There could be mist and fog oatches in the morning, these sowly clearing. Then a day of broken cloud but with some patchy rain here and there. Highs at a cold 5 to 8C.

Tuesday 12/11/19
Staying cold on Tuesday. An easterly wind, possibly strong in Scotland where there will be heavy periods of rain, mostly in the east with snow over the Grampians Drier and brighter to the south and west. Highs at 4 to 8C.

Wednesday 13/11/19
Another cold day. Low pressure to the south of the UK. A strong easterly wind bringing cloud and rain, most in northern and eastern England and Scotland. Probably drier to the west an far south. Highs at 4 to 8C.
