Wednesday
Feeling humid still in the south and east but it should stay mostly dry here with sunny spells through the morning. Meanwhile, a band rain will push eastwards across Scotland and the Irish Sea moving into Wales, while clearing much of Ireland and western Scotland with brighter weather developing behind. The afternoon will see cloud thicken in the south and east with rain moving in here, falling heavy across parts of Wales and central into east England, the risk of some thunder possible too. The far south staying dry until evening. Brighter conditions with some showery rain further north and west. Highs for many at 16 to 23C, warmer and more humid across SE England with highs here at 25 or 26C.

Wednesday night
Outbreaks of rain will continue to push southeastwards across central and southern England clearing Wales later on. The rain will fall heavy giving the risk of some localised flooding, possibly thundery too, across the SE. Drier and fresher further north and west with clear spells though showers onto western coasts and hills. Lows dropping back here to 7 to 10C, yet still humid further south and east with lows here at 13 to 17C.

Thursday
A cloudy and wet start to Thursday across SE England as heavy and persistent rain continues for a time before eventually clearing offshore. Meanwhile, a ridge builds in behind allowing for a largely dry and fine day with sunny spells for many. North and northwest Scotland, however, will see strengthened winds and showery outbreaks of rain. Highs at 18 to 25C, though cooler across northwest Scotland.

Friday
Parts of central, southern and eastern England should be largely dry with sunny spells for a time before clouding over. Breezy through here. Cloudy toward the north and west with rain setting in heavily for some across west and south Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England as well as north Wales. Showery rain across northern Scotland with the best of the bright and sunny spells across the Northern Isles. Cool northwest 15 to 19C, warmer southeast up to 25C near London.
