UK Forecast - June 28, 2023
Mixed with rain and showers
Continuing humid in south

Thursday
A wet start to Thursday across SE England as heavy and persistent rain continues here for a time before eventually clearing offshore. Cloud may linger for much of the day. Meanwhile, a ridge builds in behind allowing for a largely dry and fine day elsewhere with sunny spells for many. North and west Scotland, however, will see winds strengthen through the day with showers becoming more prominant with longer spells of rain across the Northern Isles. Highs at 18 to 25C, though cooler across northwest Scotland.

Thursday night
A relatively fresher night for all. Mostly dry, though outbreaks of rain do affect Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and other western areas of the UK heading towards dawn. Lows at 9 to 13C.

Friday
Parts of central, southern and eastern England should be largely dry for a time in the morning some sunny or bright intervals before clouding over and patchy rain moves in from the west. Thicker cloud elsewhere. Rain setting in heavy for periods across west and south Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. More patchy rain elsewhere. A cooler and fresher day for all with highs at 16 to 23C.

Saturday
Fresh west to north-westerly winds on Saturday, gale force possible across the northwest, but it will be a drier and brighter day for many. Scattered showers affecting western coasts and hills, while spells of more persistent rain will push eastwards across northern Scotland and the Northern Isles. Highs 16 to 24C.
