Mostly dry with sunny spells

Wednesday
Morning cloud in most eastern and many central areas again on Wednesday. High pressure remains north of Scotland and this brings an easterly flow. Western areas will be staying sunny, with the cloud centrally and further east breaking and sunny spells developing here as well. A dry day for all. Tops at 22C in the sunshine, 16C on eastern coasts.
 


Wednesday Night
A dry night. Cloud returns to eastern areas tonight and drifts westwards as the night progresses. Clearer skies in the far west. Lows near a chilly 5C in sheltered areas, generally 7 to 10C.

 
 
 


Thursday
Pressure remains high on Thursday, centred north of Scotland. There will be sunny spells and it should be dry. Increased cloud in Ireland and Scotland. The cloud may drift into northern England making the sunshine hazy. Best of the sunshine across Wales and central and southern England. Highs at 22C in the sunshine, 16C on eastern coasts.
 


Friday
High pressure north of Scotland again on Friday. An easterly wind affecting the British Isles, this brisk in the south. Eastern areas may have some cloud at first but this breaks and sunny spells develop. The best sunshine in western areas. Some cloud and mist may trouble the far south of Ireland and southwest England, some drizzle here but then the risk of some thundery showers breaking out too later in the day. Highs at at a warm and muggy 17 to 24C.
