Thundery rain moves north
Warm

Tuesday
A wet start to Tuesday morning across much of central and northern Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia as an area of thundery rain pushes north. This rain will be reaching northern England and then into southern Scotland through the morning and into the early afternoon. Dry and brighter weather returns to more southern areas behind the rain. Western Scotland and Ireland will be brighter and dry at first, but heavy thundery showers quickly developing here. A few thundershowers in Wales during the afternoon. Highs at 21 to 26C but perhaps nearer 20C in northeast England in rain this afternoon.


Tuesday Night
Rain clears eastern Scotland this evening to leave behind mostly dry conditions. There will be some clear spells especially across central and southern England and Wales. A few showers affecting western Scotland, Northwest England, western Wales and Southwest England, as well as western Ireland. Lows at 9 to 14C.
 


Wednesday
Wednesday is set to be a fair day for most. They will be sunny spells to start the day and it should be dry. A scattering of showers across Scotland and eastern Ireland in the afternoon but overall it will be remaining dry. Feeling warm for all as well, although fresher than recently. Highs at 26C in East Anglia, 18C in northwest Scotland.
 


Thursday
A reach of high-pressure bills to the country on Thursday. This brings another fair day with good spells of sunshine. Little changes expected through the day, although isolated showers may pop up across western coasts and hills. Some fair weather cloud developing, but plenty of sunshine too. Highs at 28C in souther England, 19C northern Scotland.
