Thursday
High pressure northeast of Scotland on Thursday. More variable cloud cover across southern and southwest England including Wales and Ireland today with the risk of a shower or two, possibly heavy and thundery, developing through west Wales and southwest England. A higher risk of more showers, likely heavy and thundery, across west Ireland. A few heavy and thundery showers possible across the NW Highlands once again. Otherwise a dry day with sunshine and feeling again very warm for most. Highs at 24 to 28C, cooler along eastern coasts.


Thursday Night
The risk of showers continues overnight across some parts of west Ireland, otherwise a dry night with clear spells. Cloud builds across Ireland and western areas of the UK. Staying warm and humid in the west, cooler in the east.

 
 
 


Friday
More variable cloud cover across the country on Friday, though many still seeing sunny spells and feeling very warm. Showers as well as longer spells of rain probable across many Irish counties though the east looks to stay largely dry. Scattered showers also developing across parts of Scotland into northern England as well as north and west Wales, some heavy and possibly thundery. Elsewhere dry. Highs rising again to 22 to 28C.


Saturday
Saturday sees more cloud about, some sunny spells, best in the east, along with showers. These showers are likely to be heavy and thundery for some, breaking out right across Ireland again, moving on into parts of Scotland and northern England through the day. A few scattered showers across north Wales, but expected dry with sunny spells elsewhere across the country. Another warm and humid day for many with highs at 22 to 28C, cooler under the thicker cloud in the west.
