A fine morning in many central and eastern areas, plenty of sunshine and feeling warm too. Some thundery rain will be affecting much of Ireland, although Northern Ireland will be dry. Drizzle and some mist over the hills of southwest England and southern Wales. Broken cloud in Scotland but dry with sunny spells. This afternoon sees further thundery rain in Ireland. A few thundery showers in southern Wales and southwest England. Dry in central and eastern areas, the best sunshine in eastern England. Broken cloud again in Scotland with sunshine south and east. A warm day at 27C in England and Wales, 18C on eastern coasts and 22C in Ireland.

Saturday Night
Thundery showers developing over Wales this evening, these fading away. Then thundery rain into western Scotland and southwest England as well as Northern Ireland. The rest of Ireland should be dry. Cloudy in the western UK and perhaps misty, but clearer skies in the east. Lows at a muggier 11 to 15C.
 

Sunday
Thundery showers and rain in western Scotland, this turning more showery. The outbreaks of thundery rain developing across western England, Wales and southern England during the morning and into the afternoon. Some of the thunderstorms may be locally torrential. The best sunshine and driest conditions for eastern Scotland and eastern England. A few showers developing in Ireland, but sunny spells here as well. Highs to 29C in the sunshine in the east, 24C in the cloudier west.

Monday
High pressure north of Scotland on Monday with an easterly flow over much of the country. There will be some thunderstorms developing over Wales and western England as well as western Scotland. Ireland also becoming thundery, especially in the east. Probably drier in eastern England and eastern Scotland with the best sunshine here. Highs at 29C in the Midlands and eastern England, 21C in northwest Scotland.
