A few thunderstorms

Wednesday
Another very warm day with plenty of sunshine over most of the country. There will be some fair weather cloud developing especially in central and western areas. Thicker cloud affecting the far northwest of Scotland where the odd isolated shower could develop. Cloud too in western Ireland and this may creep into the Isles of Scilly and southwest England later. A few heavier showers developing through western Ireland again. Otherwise a dry day. Highs at 24 to 29C, but cool on eastern coasts.


Wednesday Night
Dry overnight for most though some scattered showers in western Ireland continuing. Clear skies for many though some cloud moving in more across southern and southwestern areas. Staying warm and humid in the west, cooler in the east.

 
 
 


Thursday
High pressure northeast of Scotland on Thursday. More cloud across southern areas today with the risk of a few developing showers across Wales as well as an isolated thunderstorm possible again in the Scottish Highlands. Some thundery showers again affecting western into central Ireland. Elsewhere, mainly dry and staying very warm with most of the sunshine here. Highs at 24 to 28C but 18C along eastern coasts.


Friday
High pressure again brings largely dry weather and sunshine to Scotland, central and eastern England on Friday. Some thunderstorms over Wales and Ireland with local torrential showers. Highs at 22 to 28C.
