Blustery, wintry showers

Good morning,

Strong to gale force strength winds in the morning should ease with showers in the west.

A chilly and blustery day is expected with wintry showers in the west and the best of the drier and sunnier weather further east.
 

A largely dry night with clear spells before midnight, then cloud and rain, snow across northern Scotland, will spread eastwards with milder air moving in to the west. Frost and ice expected to develop in the east.
