A band of cloud and patchy rain moving south.
Southernmost English counties could wake up to some patchy lighter rain and drizzle. Meanwhile, further north, a band of cloud and patchy rain moves south across northern England into central regions and Wales.
A largely dry day across Scotland and Northern Ireland with good sunny spells, though some patchy rain pushing in to northern parts of Scotland later.
Any rain fizzles out across northern Scotland through the evening to allow for a dry night for all with clear spells extensively developing leading to a risk of a frost first thing for some, particularly further south, as well as mist and fog pacthes.
