Damp for western Scotland and Ireland
Good morning,
High pressure resides over Britain again today, but there's a lot of low cloud trapped under that high, so don't expect that much sunshine. Some favoured spots will poke through, best in more eastern areas.
Most places will be dry, apart from a little fine drizzle over some western hills. Northwest Scotland and the west of Ireland may be generally more damp with steadier light rain at times, associated with a weak front across these areas.
Winds will be generally light, but a westerly breeze in the north will feel quite cool in northern Scotland.
Today's top temperatures reaching 5 to 8C, chilliest where murk persists.
Have a great day. Garry
