A frosty start and a bright day for most.
High pressure over the UK and Ireland on Friday. There may be a few mist and fog patches in the morning over England and Wales although these clearing quickly to leave good spells of sunshine.
More cloud in northern and western Scotland as well as Ireland. A few spots of drizzle over western coasts of Scotland and northern Ireland with little change through the day.
Overnight expect dry conditions and clear skies for many across southern England and Wales where a frost will develop. More cloud cover further north with some patchy rain affecting northwest Scotland.
