Milder for some
Patchy rain/drizzle

Monday
A cloudy day with patchy lighter rain and drizzle about for many, particularly in the west, and more persistent rainfall expected to move across Scotland later. Elsewhere, plenty of places staying dry too with less wind further south. A milder day with temperatures climbing to highs at 8 to 11C for many.

Monday Night
A band of more persistent rainfall will push southwards across southern Scotland into nothern and central England as well as Wales overnight. Some blustery showers through the northwest Highlands but largely dry with clear spells then across Scotland and Northern Ireland where a frost may come about for some. Cloudier further south and milder. Lows at -1 to 4C in the north and 5 to 8C further south.

Tuesday
A weak front treks south through England, Wales and the rest of Ireland on Tuesday bringing cloud, drizzle and patchy rain as well as hill and coastal fog likely here. Sunnier for north and west Wales, northern England, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland. A few showers may affect western Scotland. Highs at 5 to 7C for most, 10C in southwest England.

Wednesday
High pressure over southern areas of Ireland and the UK on Wednesday. There will be some mist and fog patches again through England, Wales and Ireland. Plenty of cloud is possible with some drizzle on hills though a few bright spells may just develop. Breezy in Scotland. Highs cooler through England at 5 to 8C here but milder further north and west with highs up to 10 or 11C in parts of Scotland.
