Bright conditions developing from the north.

Starting cloudy with patchy rain/drizzle across southern counties, this clearing to brighter, drier weather as the front clears.

Elsewhere, largely dry and bright conditions, though showers across the north and northwest.

Overnight, cloud spilling in across much of the country but with some clear spells in places patchy frost will develop for some. Mostly dry but patchy rain pushing across the far north of Scotland and Orkney.
