Morning Call - September 21, 2020
Mostly dry
Warm sunshine

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 21st September 2020
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Largely dry and sunny and feeling warm in the south although cloud and patchy rain moving into the far north and northwest.

In the morning, it will be dry with sunshine across much of England, Wales and Ireland, once any mist and fog lift. Cloud will thicken across north and west Scotland and Northern Ireland, but it should stay largely dry although the Northern Isles may see some patchy rain arrive by midday.

In the afternoon, staying dry for most and the sunshine will be at its best but some northeastern coasts of England could see mist remain for much of the afternoon. Cloudier skies remain to the north and west of Scotland as well as across Northern Ireland with rain spreading into the far northwest of mainland Scotland.

Overnight, cloud will continue to thicken across the north and in the west as patchy outbreaks of rain move in here. Rain turning heavy later over the Northern and Western Isles. Dry for most areas and clear skies expected across much of England and Wales.
