Rain in southern Ireland and southwest England, further rain in northern Scotland

A wet morning across central and northern Scotland with some heavy periods of rain here. It is going to be a brighter morning elsewhere with some sunny spells. These sunny spells affecting much of Ireland too.

This afternoon sees thicker cloud through Ireland, this bringing rain. The rain also slipping into southwest England and the west of Wales. Further rain in central and northern Scotland, drier in the south. Across the rest of the country there will be sunny spels, just an isolated shower here and there.

Tonight sees rain across much of England and Wales as wel as southeast Ireland. Drier further north.
