Drizzle northwest

Dry for most, best sunshine i the south and east, drizzle in northwest

A fair day to come across much of England and Wales with some good spells of sunshine. The best sunshine persists through the south of England into this afternoon and it is here where it will feel warmest. Cloudier skies this morning in Scotland and northwest England as well as much of Ireland with some drizzle on western coasts.

Littler changes this afternoon with many areas dry with broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells. Drizzle in the west of Scotland and western Ireland with low cloud covering the hills here. Always drier to the east and south with the best of the sunshine here too.

More persistent rain and strong winds into northwest Scotland tonight. Dry elsewhere but cloudy in the north and west. Some clearer skies to the east and south.
