Good Morning,

A cloudy start for Ireland and northwestern parts of the UK on Tuesday with outbreaks of rain over western and northern parts of Scotland. This will be locally heavy. A few showers over western parts of Ireland as well as over southwestern parts of England and Scotland and northwestern parts of England and Wales. Staying dry for much of England with the best of the sun for central and eastern areas.

Rain spreads across Northern Ireland and Ireland through the afternoon while continuing to fall over western Scotland too. Staying drier but cloudy for eastern Scotland. Cloud gradually builds over Wales and England while patchy showers affect western parts of England and Wales. Some areas will continue to see some brighter spells through the afternoon.

Rain continues to edge southeastward into this evening reaching northwestern parts of England and Wales. Behind this, it's a drier evening for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland though showers will affect western coasts and hills here. Some showers affect central and southern portions of England ahead of the main band of rain.

Have a good day!

Claire
