Breezy and sunny in the south, cloud over northeast coasts and northern Scotland

A weak front affects central and southern England this morning giving outbreaks of showery rain. The rain wil be easing and becoming lighter and more showery. Brighter in Scotland and northwest England as well as Wales. Western Ireland will probably be brighter too. A cooler day for almost all.

This afternoon sees patchy rain in East Anglia and southeast England, this being on and off until evening. Cloudier in northern and western areas giving a few showers over the hills. Staying brighter in northwest Scotland.

More persistent in northern England tonight with rain too in Norfolk. Drier in southern England with some sunny spells. Cloudier in central and northern Scotland.
