Hot still in the south and southeast. Warm further north too. Dry in the north but showers across the southern half.

A dry morning with sunshine across Scotland and northern England, albeit maybe more in the way of low cloud about down eastern coasts. Showery outbreaks of rain will spread across Ireland and affect Northern Ireland. Some showers developing across southern and southeastern areas of England but mainly dry elsewhere.

In the afternoon, Northern Ireland and northern and central regions of Ireland will become dry and fine. Staying dry with sunshine for Scotland and northern England. Showers potentially becoming widespread and heavy and thundery in places across southern and central England and Wales as well as the far southwest of Ireland. Hot still in the south and southeast of England. Warm in the north and west too.

Overnight, it will remain dry across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern and central Ireland and much of northern England. Further south expect the heavier and thundery showers to continue across Wales, much of central and southern England as well as southwest Ireland. Showers could ease off around these areas for a time but through the early hours look to become heavy again across southeast England. Warm and muggy still in the south.
