Sunny spells

Good morning,

A cold front has passed eastwards in the early hours of Saturday, leaving much fresher conditions across Britain today on a westerly breeze.

A scattering of showers will spread from the west, these most frequent in western areas this morning, before tending to fade out here to leave increasing amounts of sunshine around western coasts of England and Wales.

Scattered showers will drift eastwards across England and Scotland, out toward eastern coasts by late afternoon and evening. Many places staying frequently dry through the day with broken cloud and sunshine.

The heat has gone, but today's top temperatures still reaching 25C in the southeast. Nearer 23C for the Midlands, and 16 to 20C in the north and west.

Have a great day.
Garry
