Mixed weekend and cool. Heavy rain Monday.

A mixed weekend with many experiencing chilly starts. Monday sees an active area of low pressure bring strengthened wind and heavy rain then a more westerly flow continues through the rest of the week. A drier weekend currently on the cards for next weekend.

After a chilly and largely dry start for many an area of low pressure moves across the country bringing spells of rain, often heavy and persistent, from west to east across Wales and England and south to north through Scotland. Rain largely clearing Wales, the Midlands and southwest England through the day seeing drier and brighter weather here but it will be windy. Highs around 7 to 11C.

Tuesday 22/11/22
Spells of rain affect parts of Scotland into NW England and Wales through the Midlands as the area of low pressure sits just to the east of the country on Tuesday. Largely dry elsewhere with sunny spells about. Highs at 6 to 10C.

Wednesday 23/11/10/22
Overnight rain pushes up from the south on Wednesday with many areas across England and Wales waking up to a cloudy and wet start before rain clears to sunny spells and frequent showers with blustery conditions. Scotland will have a cold start and is expected to see rain later in the day. Highs at 7 to 10C.

Thursday 24/11/10/22
The next frontal system moves throgh on Thursday bringing plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain to most through the day. Breezy too. Highs at 7 to 10C.

Friday 25/11/10/22
A chilly day on Friday and mostly dry as a ridge attempts to build in gradually from the west, though do expect some scattered showers, these frequent and likely to merge into longer spells of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Saturday 26/11/10/22
With high pressure influencing more on Saturday most will see a dry day with sunny spells, once any mist and fog lifts. Highs at 7 to 12C.
