Mild currently then cooler, wet and windy weather later

A very mild weekend with mostly dry weather. A sharp temperature change next week as cooler, more unsettled winds arrive from the west. There will be showers, some of them heavy and it will be windy at times too.

Tuesday 15/11/22
A cloudy and wet day with outbreaks of rain, heavy in the west for a time, before clearing many regions of Wales, southwest England and western Scotland as the day progresses to drier and brighter yet cooler conditions develop here. Staying cloudy and wet elsewhere. A mostly dry and fine day across Northern Ireland. Highs at 10 to 13C.
 

Wednesday 16/11/22
Low pressure close to northern Scotland on Wednesday brings heavy periods of rain here first thing before clearing. Some heavy showers across central and southern England as well, these clearing slowly eastwards. Brighter weather for most other areas, although always a risk of some showers. More persistent spells of rain and strengthening winds moving in to southern England, Wales and south Ireland later. Temperatures at 8 to 12C.

Thursday 17/11/22
Heavy rain overnight clears much of southern and central England includiung Wales during the morning with spells of rain continuing to affect much of north and east Scotland throughout the day. Sunny spells and showers are expected for most. Feeing cool. Highs at 8 to 11C.

Friday 18/11/22
A cooler start for many with some mist and fog possible before lifting to a mostly dry day of sunny spells and just a few scattered showers, these mainly in the west and look to ease back later as pressure builds. Highs at 8 to 11C.

Saturday 19/11/10/22
A ridge of high pressure gives a largely dry day to Saturday. After a chilly and potentially frosty start expect sunny spells to develop after some mist and fog patches lift. Strong winds and rain are expected to sweep in to far western areas later. Highs around 8 to 12C.

Sunday 20/11/10/22
A band of heavy rain and blustery winds advance eastward across the country, then clearing to brighter weather but also some showers. Winds ease back considerably. Highs at 10 to 13C.
