Rain and showers throughout the week, temperatures becoming cooler

Staying unsettled during this week. There will be bands of rain followed by showers passing eastwards through the country. The rain could be heavy and may bring some localised flooding, especially in southern areas. Temperatures turning cooler to be closer to average. Windy at times too. Only a few drier days.

Thursday 3/11/22
Prolonged rain may be affecting southern and southeast England as well as East Anglia on Thursday as a front becomes slow moving through the area. There is a risk of localised flooding. Some showers in western and southern Wales as well as southwest England and southern Ireland. Further north it becomes brighter with good spells of sunshine. Some showery rain affecting the far north of Scotland, Orkney and Shetland. Highs near 9 to 12C.

Friday 4/11/22
A ridge of high pressure builds through all areas on Friday. This brings a bright day with sunny spells. Some showers affecting northern and western coasts, although these probably light and scattered. Dry elsewhere. Temperatures at 9 to 13C.

Saturday 5/11/22
Low pressure west of Ireland on Saturday. A front moves eastwards bringing rain for many, most of it afecting Scotland and southern England. The rain band tending to be showery elsewhere. Becoming brighter from the west with sunny spells, but some heavy showers in western Ireland. Highs at a milder 16C in southern England, 9C in northern Scotland.

Sunday 6/11/22
A deep area of low pressure west of Scotland on Sunday. This brings an area of gales with it. Heavy showers in western and northern areas, as well as along western and southern coasts and hills. Probably fewer showers in the east. Highs at 9 to 15C.

Monday 7/11/22
A weak ridge of high pressure builds on Monday. A fair amount of cloud in western areas, some drizzle over western coasts. Brighter spells in eastern areas. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Tuesday 8/11/10/22
Rain through Ireland moving into wales and western England. Drier for other areas with some sunny spells, best in the east. Highs at 10 to 15C.
