UK Forecast - March 20, 2021
Patchy rain northwest
Drier south and east

Sunday
High pressure still generally the dominating weather feature on Sunday although a weakened front will bring more cloud and some possible light rain to western areas as well as through Wales and some central and southern English counties. Generally dry elsewhere with variable amounts of cloud about and some sunny spells too. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Sunday Night
Generally staying dry from Sunday into Monday though thickening cloud over northwestern areas brings some patchy light rain and drizzle here. Clearer skies over much of England and Wales will allow temperatures to drop here and for a patchy rural frost to form. Overnight lows at 1 to 4C for towns and cities in England and Wales, 3 to 6C for much of Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Monday
Monday sees a bright start for many, eastern areas in particular, however, cloud looks to thicken across west of Scotland, northern England, north Wales and Northern Ireland as some rain, mostly patchy and generally light in nature, will push in. The rest of the UK and Ireland should stay largely dry although cloud could build here too through the afternoon. Highs at 9 to 14C.

Tuesday
High pressure shifts south on Tuesday allowing for some fronts to move in to northern and western areas. This will bring more in the way of cloudy skies to many parts of the country with the exception of southern areas of England where we'll see the best of the sun. Patchy rain is expected over far western parts of Scotland, as well as western Ireland and Northern Ireland. Dry elsewhere. Highs at 9 to 13C.
