UK Forecast - March 04, 2021
Largely settled
Yet chilly

Friday
High pressure pushes more over the UK and Ireland on Friday. This is going to be bringing a cold yet mainly dry day. Frosty conditions for the north and west too first thing. There will be some sunshine, the best of this to the west. Always more cloud affecting eastern areas of Scotland and England. Some cloud too in western Ireland but the east should be brighter with sunny spells. A few spots of drizzle may affect the far northwest of Scotland. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Friday Night
A largely dry night for most areas under largely clear skies allowing for a frost to become rather widespread by the morning. More cloud cover developing across west Scotland and through much of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Patchy light rain affecting the Northern and Western Isles through the early hours with some patchy rain also reaching coastal areas of west Ireland before dawn. Lows at -2 to 4C.

Saturday
High-pressure remains over the country on Saturday. Morning mist and fog patches are likely but these will be clearing away quickly. Most areas will be dry with broken cloud. There may be more cloud across Ireland and Northern Ireland where there is the risk of some rain in the far west here. Northern Scotland too will see some patchy rain with more in the way of cloud. Highs at 5 to 8C.

Sunday
Original high pressure is maintained across southern parts of England and Wales on Sunday. This should bring dry weather with some broken cloud and sunny spells to this part of the UK. Lower pressure west of Ireland will push some showery rain eastwards and affect parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as north and western areas of Scotland with some rain reaching northeast Scotland too. Highs of 5 to 11C.
