Sunday 7/3/21
Original high pressure is maintained across southern parts of England and Wales on Sunday. This should bring dry weather with some broken cloud and sunny spells to this part of the UK. Lower pressure west of Ireland will push some showery rain eastwards and affect parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland in particular but some rain reaching eastern areas too. Highs of 5 to 11C.

Monday 8/3/21
Fronts moving eastwards through the UK and Ireland on Monday. Outbreaks of rain will push across, heavy initially in the west, but becoming brighter from the west later. A less cool day but breezy. Highs at 6 to 12C.

Tuesday 9/3/21
Starting fair for Tuesday in the east, but rain, risk of it being heavy and persistent, is expected to pass through the whole of the UK. Winds may become stronger too with a risk of gales in the west and northwest. The rain could turn to snow over the hills of Scotland. Reasonably mild with highs between 7 and 12C.

Wednesday 10/3/21
A day of sunshine and showers with low pressure to the north of Scotland. The showers will be heaviest in northern and western Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as northwest England. The next area of low pressure pushes in across Wales through the afternoon and then eastwards across England bringing spells of rain and strengthening winds here. Highs at 5 to 8C in the north but a milder 9 to 14C in the south.

Thursday 11/3/21
Low pressure remains in control through Thursday. There will be showers merging to longer spells of rain, mainly affecting western areas but likely to spread eastwards across Scotland and northern England through the day. Best of the dry weather towards the southeast. Highs at 5 to 11C.

Friday 12/3/21
Low pressure still just to the north of Scotland will bring breezier conditions with outbreaks of rain to the far north and west of Scotland, while eastern areas will be cloudy but mainly dry. Elsewhere, a weak ridge of high pressure should bring mainly dry conditions and some sunny spells. Best of the sunshine towards the southeast. Highs at 5 to 9C.
