A bright day though chilly where exposed to the wind

Good morning,

A chilly and in places frosty start but a largely dry day ahead with plenty of sunny spells.

There will be a brisk north-easterly wind bringing the risk of more cloud and perhaps some scattered showers to eastern England. Feeling chilly where exposed to the wind in the east and south. A cooler day for many.

A largely dry night with clear spells though on a brisk northeasterly wind flow there will be some showers pushing on to eastern coastal counties of the UK and Ireland, wintry over higher ground. Some mist to start first thing across northern Scotland and a frost developing for many in the north and further west, seeing a chilly start to Sunday.
