Lots of dry weather, remaining cold with overnight frosts
High pressure remains over the country through the coming week. This brings more dry weather and with east to northeast winds it will be staying cold. Overnight frosts are likely with single figure temperatures by day. A couple of days of cloud and patchy rain, but sunny spells on most days, the best in the west.

Tuesday 28/2/23 A cloudier day with high pressure remaining centred over northern Scotland on Tuesday. The northeast wind brings extensive cloud in eastern and southern areas. Some showery bursts of rain, although these could be more persistent in parts of southeast England. The best sunshine always in western Scotland and Ireland. Feeling cold for all at 6 to 8C.
Wednesday 1/3/23 High pressure over northern Scotland on Friday. Broken cloud again affecting eastern areas with a few showers here. Brighter in the west and south although still with broken cloud. Highs at 6 to 8C.
Thursday 2/3/23 High pressure remains on Thursday, centred over northern Scotland. Some cloud and a few showers in the east. Brighter in western areas with some sunshine here. Highs at 6 to 8C.
Friday 3/3/23 The UK and Ireland stay under high pressure on Friday. Dry with good spells of sunshine, the best in the south and west. Some clod in eastern areas. Highs at 6 to 8C after a morning frost.
Saturday 4/3/23 A weak front may bring soms patchy rain or sleet to northern Scotland. Cloudier in the east but dry. Brighter in the west with sunny spells. Highs at 5 to 8C and a morning frost.
Sunday 5/3/23 A cloudier day with a front through the country. This brings some outbreaks of rain and a few outbreaks of rain in the north and east. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 7C in southern areas.
