Risk of frost and fog from Sunday

Always the risk of more cloud, possible patchy rain and strengthened winds further north, while staying dry in the south. Milder through the rest of this week before turning chilly with an overnight frost and the risk of mist and fog developing.

Saturday 4/2/23
A dry start for most on Saturday. Cloud will build from the west with outbreaks of rain pushing across northern and western areas as the day progresses, turning light and patchy the further east it pushes. Much of central and southern England will remain dry and relatively mild. Highs at 9 to 12C.
 

Sunday 5/2/23
A chillier start on Sunday as a ridge of high pressure builds in across the country. Dry weather for all though with the risk of mist and fog across England, Wales and parts of south and east Ireland. Highs at a cooler 6 to 8C.

Monday 6/2/23
A chilly start for all with the risk of frost and freezing fog across England and Wales first thing on Monday. A largely dry day though cloud will build in the far west with some light rain and drizzle moving in here. Highs at 6 to 9C.

Tuesday 7/2/23
Another chilly start for most, frosty for some. Fog again is expected through parts of England, Wales and Ireland. Less so further north as a brisker wind blows through here. Staying largely dry across the country. Highs at 6 to 9C though cooler still in any lingering fog.

Wednesday 8/2/23
Wednesday starts chilly with a frost across SE England along with the risk once again of some freezing fog. A largely dry day though with a brisk wind across the far north some showers and or drizzle is likely to affect here. Highs at 4 to 8C.

Thursday 9/2/23
Chilly to start across SE England. Largely dry though more cloud across the north and west as a weak front bringing some patchy rain moves in across here. Highs at 6 to 8C.
