Blustery winds in north, mild for many

Strengthened winds keeping frost at bay through this week. Largely dry though some rain and or showers in the north and west. Cooler conditions push through from Sunday with frosty starts for some next week. Currently still staying largely dry.

A cloudy morning for many with patchy rain in the north soon lifts and clears to allow for a drier and brighter afternoon with developing sunny spells. Always dry further south with the best of the sunshine. A mild day with highs at 10 to 12C.

 
 
 

Saturday 4/2/23
More cloud on Saturday bringing rain across northern and west areas along with strengthening winds. Dry for other areas, and the best chance of some sunny spells in the east and south. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Sunday 5/2/23
A chillier start on Sunday as a ridge of high pressure building through western and southern areas on Sunday. The remains of a weak front in the east giving more cloud here and a few wintry showers to NE Scotland. Brighter in other areas. Highs at 7 to 9C.

Monday 6/2/23
A chilly and for some frosty start to Monday. A dry day though in a slack wind mist and fog is likely to linger through the day for some. Cloud building in the northwest. Highs at 6 to 10C.

Tuesday 7/2/23
Perhaps a frosty start in SE England. Dry with fog here lifting to sunshine. Cloudier elsewhere with some patchy rain and drizzle. Highs at 5 to 9C.

Wednesday 8/2/23
Wednesday is a cool feeling day for most. Cloud in the north and west with some patchy rain here again. Best of any sunny spells in the south and east where it should be mostly dry. Highs at 4 to 8C.
