Morning Call - December 14, 2021
Mild and cloudy
Rain in northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 14th December 2021
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Mild, lots of cloud, drizzle in the west with rain in northwest Scotland

A mild day for all in the UK and Ireland with a southwest wind afecting the whole of the country. There could be some drizzle over western and southern coasts and hills. Drier inland although always lots of cloud here. Rain and stronger winds in northern and western Scotland. Bits of drizzle in western Ireland.

Little changes this afternoon and so many areas will be staying cloudy. Some drizzle and low cloud again affecting western coasts and hills but drier in central and eastern areas, perhaps with an odd brighter spell. Staying mild. Wet in northwest Scotland with more rain here and staying windy.

Tonight is damp through Scotland, western and Northern Ireland as well as the far northwest of England. Low coud shrouds the hills. Drier for the rest of England and Wales with broken cloud, a few mist or fog patches in the south. Staying mild.
