Mild
Patchy rain in north

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 15th December 2021
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Mild and cloudy south-westerly flow

A breezy morning with cloud and patchy rain across north and west Ireland as well as parts of west and south Scotland into northern England. Dry with sunny spells but also the risk of mist and fog patches elsewhere.

The afternoon will see the winds ease in the north but it will remain largely cloudy with some patchy rain here, mainly in the west. Drier elsewhere.

Overnight, any rain affecting northwest Ireland will clear. Patchy rain and drizzle across much of western and central Scotland with any rain in the south of Scotland clearing through the early hours. Dry elsewhere with clear spells but also mist and fog patches developing. Another frost free night.
