Morning Call - June 27, 2022
Early showers
A fair afternoon

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 27th June 2022
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Early showers clearing east this afternoon, turning drier and brighter in the west

Showers at first across many parts of northern England, southern Scotland and the Midlands this morning. The showery trough will be passing eastwards as we go through the morning and into the afternoon and so eastern areas which will be starting fair are likely to see the showers by late morning.

Western areas becoming dryer and brighter through the morning with some decent spells of sunshine developing. The far side of England is like to be dry throughout the day with further spells of sunshine here. During the latter part of the afternoon increasing cloud in Ireland will be bringing rain to the west with the wind is picking up here as well.

It's a wet night ahead across Ireland, and combined with strong winds it really will be feeling unseasonal. For most other areas is the night is dry with some clear skies and lighter winds.
