Starting generally dry and fine with sunshine through the morning across Scotland temperatures 4C at first briefly 7C later morning A sunny start also for Northumberland to Humberside though with increasing cloudy during the morning 7C here, Sunshine and showers Cumbria through Wales to Devon and Cornwall. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain Hampshire to Kent and later to Lincolnshire during the morning will clear away northeastwards off Yorkshire during the afternoon with showers following into Hampshire, afternoon temperatures 8 to 10C.


Saturday 30/03/2024
A fine and dry start with variable cloud and sunny spells during the morning across most of Scotland, Wales and England. Scattered showers though for Devon and Cornwall running into Dyfed. Temperatures 8 to 10C through the morning. Showers developping and becoming more widespread into the afternoon for Cornwall to Hampshire, across Wales to Cumbria and into Argyll and later Highland and the Isles with a fresh south wind. Continuing generally dry Oxfordshire, Staffs to Yorkshire though some scattered showers are likely, locally warmer Bucks to Norfolk and into Humberside temperatures 12 to 14C mid-afternoon. Remaining mainly dry overnight with showers mainly confined to western coasts. Ground and slight air frost Highland, Cumbria and Northumberland


Sunday 31/03/2024
A fine start, patchy ground and air frost clearing by mid-morning, variable cloud and sunshine across Scotland, much of northern and eastern England through the morning 8-10C, locally 12 to 14C with sunshine into the afternoon. Whilst dry for the morning cloud will increase into sw England and Wales ahead of rain becoming prolonged for a time into the afternoon and evening, with a fresening SE wind, temperatures 10C generally.


Monday 01/04/2024
Cloudy for all of southern England and Wales with rain most prolonged and heavy from Licolnshire to Northumberland across to Cumbria, through Wales and into Devon and Cornwall, across Hampshire and into Kent. Winds fresh cyclonic east onto North Sea coasts, North across Wales and southerly onto Channel coasts, temperatures 6-8C. For most of Scotland generally dry with sunshine temperature 8 to 10C for most locally 10 to 12C for Moray and Aberdeenshire, Aryshire and Dumfries.


Tuesday 02/04/2024
Cloudy with prolonged period of snow, heavy at times for much of Highand from Western Isles to Orkney and Shetland, temperatures 0 to 2C with a freshening northeast wind. Snow with white-out continuing through the day into the evening slowly easing from the southwest. For England and Wales a mix of outbreaks of rain and showers, temperatures 10 to 12C from Somerset to Hampshire, Berkshire to Kent.


Wednesday 03/04/2024
Snow cover and overnight frost slow to clear Scotland during the morning with further outbreaks of snow likely. Sunshine and showers elsewhere these prolonged and heavy into Norfolk to Northamptonshire, elsewhere mainly scattered 5 to 8C with a fresh east wind.
