Stormy at first though the morning NE highland to Northern Isles, across Aberdeenshire to Tayside with gales for a time, windy also for Northumberland with fresh to strng N/NE wind, later easing through the morning. Cloudy then with rain across Highland to Tayshide clearing later through the morning. Cloudy for reaminder of England and Wales with prolonged often heavy rain across Wales, Cumbria and later into Yorkshire, outbreaks of rain for midlands to Kent with a freshening southerly wind temperature 10C. Rain continuing into the evening and overnight southwest Scotland across Yorkshire to Kent.

Sunday 17/03/2024
Prolonged rain for N.Ireland and Scotland through the day, rain also for northern England with rain clearing during the afternoon with blustery showers following. Elsewhere cloudy with outbreaks of rain, rain being slow to clear Yorkshire to Norfolk.


 

Monday 18/03/2024
Sunshine and frequent blustery showers for many in Scotland, winds light and variable, temperatures 6-8C likely 10C Tayside to Aberdeenshire with shunshine throug the afternoon. Generally cloudy across much of Wales and England with patchy outbreaks of rain, occassional prolonged Northants to Buckinghamdshire, some sunshine 10C generally, likely 12C Flintshire to Cheshire, Yorkshire to Norfolk duirng the afternon where cloud breaks.

Tuesday 19/03/2024
Cloudy with rain prolonged and often heavy throughout Scotland with a fresh to strong SW wind, with stormy condition across Western Isles to Higland and Northern Isles by evening. Cloudy with rain moving into Wales, Devon and Cornwall through the afternoon, persisting into the evening thoug becoming patchy overnight. 12-14C during the afternoon maybe 16C Lincolnshire to Kent.

Wednesday 20/03/2024
Any overnight rain will linger for a time through the morning for most of England and Wales, later cloud breaksing to give a sunny afternoon showers across Scotland, 6-8C with a change to NW wind across Northern Enngland. Sunshine and locally warm 15C Hamshire to Norfolk with SW winds.
 

Thursday 21/03/2024
Rain prolonged and heavy from Sheltland, to Highland, through to Tayside, Northumberland persiting through the morning slowly moving away eastwards during the afternoon. Further areas of rain will affect the remainder of North Sea coast through Yorkshire to Sussex. A cooler day temperatures 6C with a fresh N to NE wind.
