Eastern coasts will start the day fairly cloudy with some light rain, this soon clearing to leave dry conditions with some bright or sunny spells. Over central areas the day will start dry but increasing cloudy. Over Ireland expect outbreaks of rain, this spreading east England and Wales through the afternoon along with strengthening winds. Scotland will remain fairly dry with a few showers. Maximum temperatures at 7-9C in north, but 10-11C in south. Overnight frost in Scotland.

Monday 25/03/2024
A mostly cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, at first over the southern parts, but this spreading north through the afternoon. Some snow is possible over high ground in Scotland, and maybe even down to lower levels in the evening. Breezy with maximum temperatures at 4C in north, but 8C in south. Frost developing overnight away from the east coast.


 

Tuesday 26/03/2024
A cloudy start to the day with outbreaks of rain in south, but sleet and hill snow over Scotland. Through the afternoon, rain and snow will clear away with drier conditions following. Maximum temperatures at 5C in north, and 11C in south. Widespread frost developing overnight.


 

Wednesday 27/03/2024
A frosty and mostly dry start to the day with a few coastal showers. Some sunny spells will following through the morning with mostly dry conditions at least for the east. Further west expect thickening cloud and outbreaks of rain, this generally slowly moving. Maximum temperatures at 5C in north, and 11C in south. Patchy frost overnight for Scotland.


 

Thursday 28/03/2024
Fairly cloudy and wet for the west with outbreaks of rain, this persistent over Ireland, while high pressure over the east will give generally dry and bright conditions with only a few showers over coastal areas. Maximum temperatures at 5C over north and west, but up to 10-12C elsewhere.


 

Friday 29/03/2024
The day starts fairly dry and bright for the east, but cloudier with outbreaks of rain elsewhere. Rain will spread east later in the day. Maximum temperatures at 6C in north, but 12C in south.
