Monday 04/03/2024
Outbreaks and periods of rain and snow for sw Scotland, N.Ireland and Lancashire through the morning, easing and moving into and across Aryshire to Argyll and into Western Isles during the morning and into the afternoon. Cloudy with rain, some snow with height, often prolonged into Devon and Cornwall, across Somerset into Dyfed through the morning and into the afternoon, sunshine to follow as rain trasnfers eastwards into Gwynedd, Cheshire, Wirral, Staffordshire, Herefs to Kent with likely snow at height. Showers will follow through by eveing. A mix of rain and snow for Yorkshire and Nrthumberland into Tayside by evening and continuing overrningh though breaking later.


Tuesday 05/03/2024
Remaining unsettled with a mix of sunshine and showers, showers mainly confined and fringing coastal Scotland, Aryshire and Argyll to Western Isles and some snow likely at first for north Wales. Showers also fringing Highland through Aberdeenshire to Tayside into the afternoon. Remainder of England and Wales a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Overall generally rather cold with high wind chill in a freshening SW wind across Scotland backing SE across eastern England into se Scotland. Temperatures 1 to 4C during the morning breifly 6-8 generally by afternoon, though 10 into Kent to Cambridgeshire and locally Lincs during the afternoon. Overnight generally frost-free.

Cloudy with rain across Kent to Yorkshire clearing to sunshine through the afternoon, most of England and Wales generally dry though cloudy through the afternoon, liely exception being Devon and Cornwall to Hampshire and northwards to Warwickshire, with temperatures 8 to 10C through the afteroon, elswhere 5 to 8C with a freshening SE wind.


 


Thursday 07/03/2024
Sunshine and scattered showers for most being generally cloudy Humberside to Aberdeenshire, Lancashire to Western Isles high windchill with a freshening SE wind. Staying mainly dry with sunshine Hampshire to Kent, through midlands to N.Wales with broken cloud, temperatures 7 to 9C. Cloud increasing from the southwest across Devon and Cornwall and into south Wales later into the afternoon with rain becoming prolonged during the evening. .


Friday 08/03/2024
Dry though mainly cloudy across England and Wales, cold with a high windchill in a fresh to strong easterly wind, 4 to 6C. Cloudy across northern Isles and coastal Tayside to Northumberland with coastal low cloud and fog. Remainder of Scotland, especially Western Isles dry and generally sunny 6 to 8C. Dry overnight with patchy forst 0 to -2C.
 


Saturday 09/03/2024
Becoming increasingly cloudy across Scotland and along English North Sea coasts with outbreaks of rain, low cloud and seas fog, 3 to 5C. Remainder of England and Wales dry and cloudy staying cold fresh Easterly wind.
