UK Forecast - September 17, 2021
Some rain/showers
Relatively mild

A trailing front will lie north to south through the UK on Saturday. This brings cloudy skies for most across the country, although breaks occurring with some bright or sunny spells developing. Patchy rain looks to affect central and southeast Scotland, parts of northern England, Wales and the Midlands as well as southwest England. On a separate Atlantic front rain looks to push into far western parts of Ireland later. Highs at 23C in the sunny spells across England, generally between 15 to 20C elsewhere.

Saturday Night
Showery rain continues across central into eastern Scotland, northwest England and through Wales and parts of southwest England overnight. A separate band of rain will push eastwards across Ireland and Northern Ireland clearing from the west with clear skies developing. Elsewhere, much cloud about but staying largely dry. Lows relatively mild under the cloud cover at between 11 to 16C, perhaps though chillier across Ireland and Northern Ireland as the skies clear here.

A cloudy, grey and in many parts a wet start to Sunday, particularly across eastern Scotland and western regions of England as well as Wales. Through the day rain becomes confined to easternmost counties of England, perhaps turning heavy for a time across the southeast later. An improving day further west with plenty of dry and sunny conditions expected. Highs between 16 and 21C.

An easterly wind over southern parts of the country on Monday as low pressure sits over the near continent. There could be cloud and some rain and drizzle in southern and eastern areas of England. Drier and brighter elsewhere, although cloud is expected to thicken from the northwest with some patchy rain moving in across western Scotland. Highs at 17 to 21C.
