Sunny spells, dry
Rain in west Friday

Thursday
Some broken cloud for the Thursday morning as well as early mist and fog patches. These will be clearing and then the morning should be dry with some good spells of sunshine for many. The afternoon sees cloud increasing in western areas, but overall it is going to be staying fair with some reasonable spells of sunshine. The cloud may bring some spots of drizzle to western Ireland later. Highs at 22C in the sunshine in southeast England, 16C in the cloudier skies in the west.


Thursday Night
A cloudy night ahead for many. There will be a few clear spells here and there in the east and south. Thicker cloud in western Ireland and western Scotland bringing murky conditions here with some outbreaks of drizzle and light rain. Lows near 9 to 12C.

 
 
 


Friday
A front edging into Ireland and western parts of the UK will be bringing cloud and periods of rain through Friday. This rain will be edging slowly eastwards to be reaching western Scotland and southwest England by evening. Tending to be drier and brighter for other areas, the best of the sunshine in eastern areas of the country. Some brighter spells may arrive in western Ireland again later. Highs at 22C in the sunshine in the east, 17C in the west.


Saturday
A shallow area of low pressure over the south of the UK on Saturday. This is bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain to much of England and Wales, more likely in western areas. damp in western Scotland with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Eastern Scotland and the far east of England are likely to be dry with broken cloud. Brighter in Ireland as a ridge of high pressure builds with some sunny spells here. Highs at 16 to 18C in the cloudier, damper areas, 19 or 20C in any sunshine.
