UK Forecast - November 29, 2020
Mixed conditions
Cooler later

Monday
High pressure over England, Wales and Ireland will get squeezed southwestwards on Monday by an advancing front pushing down the country. Mist and fog is likely to linger across England and Wales in the morning but clear as rain migrates south and winds pick up. Meanwhile, spells of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland initially, heavy at times in the west, will push down into Ireland, Wales and central parts of England through the afternoon. Southern England should stay dry for much of the day but cloud will gradually thicken here. Turning brighter and drier across Scotland behind the rain. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Monday night
Patchy rain clears to the southeast of the UK overnight leaving a dry but rather cloudy night for the British Isles. A few showers may affect eastern coasts of England where winds will be touching gale force. Conditions are calmer further west and a few mist or fog patches are expected to develop across Ireland. Overnight lows at 1 to 6C for most in the UK; milder over eastern areas and for western Ireland with lows at 8 to 10C here.

Tuesday
High pressure pushes back in across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. Misty and murky for many with some fog again in places particularly in the southwest. Winds strengthening across northern and western Scotland as well as western parts of Ireland with some rain moving into the far north and west of Scotland as well as western areas of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Staying mostly dry elsewhere. Cool in the north and east with highs ranging between 4 to 9C. Milder in the west with highs between 10 and 12C.

Wednesday
A cold front moves across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland through the early hours bringing outbreaks of rain here. As it moves across England and Wales later it manifests mainly as a band of thicker cloud though there may still be a few light, patchy outbreaks of rain associated with its passage. Behind this cooler air follows with with frequent showers over western coasts and hills. These turn wintry over higher ground. Highs at a chilly 5 to 8C for most, 9 or 10C to the far southwest.
