Monday
A cloudy start across northern and western areas and it will become increasingly wet through the day across western and central Scotland, Ireland and western parts of Ireland as a front moves in here. Some cloudy skies and possible patchy light rain and drizzle across parts of south Wales and southwest England just as a weak front lingers over these parts. Staying largely dry elsewhere with variable amounts of cloud here but some good spells of sunshine towards more southeastern areas of England. Winds will strengthen thorugh the day. High temperatures at 7 to 12C.

Monday night
Cloudy with spells of rain affecting Ireland, Northern Ireland and much of Scotland as well as parts of northern England overnight. Patchy, light rain and drizzle across Wales. Drier elsewhere with variable cloud cover, best of the clear spells towards the far southeast. Not a particularly cold night with lows between 5 and 10C.
 

Tuesday
A cold front moves across Ireland and lingers over Northern Ireland and Scotland on Tuesday bringing outbreaks or rain here and later into northern and western parts of England and Wales. East Wales and much of central and eastern England stay dry with variable amounts of cloud and a few spells of sunshine. Behind the front, across western parts of Ireland, brighter conditions will come about but also some scattered showers. Breezy to start but winds should ease from the west through the day. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Wednesday
A cloudy and wet day for parts of southern and southeast England as Tuesday's front is slow to clear here. A weak trough to the north of the UK brings showers and patchy rain to northwestern parts of Ireland as well as northwestern and northern parts of Scotland. Elsewhere, it's a largely dry day with good spells of sunshine. High temperatures at 6 to 11C.
