UK Forecast - November 08, 2020
Outbreaks of rain
Milder temperatures

Monday
Low pressure continues to push over the UK on Monday bringing cloudy skies for many. It will also bring outbreaks of rain and drizzle across much of the country with the rain locally heavy in places for a time. Isolated thunderstorms may develop to the far south of England. The day is expected to improve across northern Scotland as well as across southern parts of Ireland and southwest England as higher pressure builds in here. A mild day for most with highs in the south between 14 and 16C and between 12 and 14C in the north.

Monday night
Light, patchy outbreaks of rain affect parts of Ireland, Wales and England overnight from Monday into Tuesday. Later this spreads into Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland. Staying drier over northeastern areas but still rather cloudy here. Overnight lows typically range from 7 to 11C.

Tuesday
Low pressure fills up as it moves across the UK on Tuesday. Showery bursts of rain pass eastwards and eventually fade allowing for sunny spells and largely dry conditions to develop. All areas look set to stay milder too as a south to southwesterly flow prevails. Cloud thickens over Ireland and Northern Ireland later with a band of rain arriving over western areas through the evening. Highs at 11 to 15C.

Wednesday
A dry start for many but quickly becoming increasingly cloudy. Rain already affecting western areas will push slowly eastward through the day with winds strengthening as the rain nears and passes through. It should stay dry for many eastern areas throughout much of the day but turning increasingly cloudy here. High temperatures at 10 to 14C.
