A bright and breezy day for many in northern and central areas with blustery showers over western coasts and hills and for the far north of Scotland. Cloudy further south over southern Ireland, Wales and central and southern England with patchy outbreaks of rain over far southern areas and, later, into western Wales. Highs at 7 to 9C for most, 10 to 12C for southern counties of England.


Sunday night
Rain fades from southern areas overnight from Sunday into Monday while frequent showers affect western and northern parts of Scotland. Cloud thickens of Ireland, Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland with rain arriving here through Monday morning. A dry night with clear skies for much of England and Wales as well as eastern parts of Ireland and Scotland. Overnight lows at 2 to 4C for most; slightly milder to the southwest, slightly colder in more rural spots.


Monday
A cloudy, windy and wet start across northwestern areas on Monday with rain affecting the northwestern half of Ireland, Northern Ireland, much of Scotland and the far northwest of England and Wales. Staying dry for much of England and Wales with variable amounts of cloud here but some good spells of sunshine. Winds pick up here through the day. High temperatures at 7 to 12C.
 


Tuesday
A cold front moves across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland on Tuesday bringing outbreaks or rain here and later into western parts of England and Wales. East Wales and much of central and eastern England stay dry with variable amounts of cloud and a few spells of sunshine. Behind the front scattered showers will affect western parts of Scotland and Ireland. Drier over eastern Ireland but staying rather cloudy. Breezy to start but winds should ease from the west through the day. Highs at 8 to 12C.
