Tuesday
A cool morning for all. There will be a brisk northerly winds affecting East Anglia, south-east England and the East Midlands with the scattering of showers affecting the Norfolk Coast. Try elsewhere with the cloud breaking and some bright spells coming through. Thick cloud always affects Ireland and the far south west of England and there is a risk of some drizzle affecting western Ireland as well. Little changes expected this afternoon with further cloud and a few bright spells, the best of them through the Midlands and northern England. Highs at 5 to 10C.

Tuesday night
Rain drift into northern and western Scotland overnight and this also affects western Ireland. The rain turns to snow over the highlands. A scattering of showers along the coast of East Anglia and Southeast England. Other areas will be dry, some clear spells in the east but always more cloud in the west. Lows at 0C in eastern England, 7C in western Scotland.
 

Wednesday
A weak front will be bringing some light showers to northern England, the Midlands and Wales on Wednesday morning. Showers will merge into longer spells of rain and increasingly sleet and snow across western Scotland. Further showers in Ireland. Rather cloudy through southern and south eastern part of England with the risk of some morning mist and fog here. Windy in western Scotland and northern parts of Ireland. Staying cold for most at 4 to 7C, but a milder 9C in west Wales, southwest England and western Ireland.

Thursday
A cold day for Thursday with low-pressure passing eastwards. This brings lots of cloud and outbreaks of rain. There will be some heavier periods of rain across Southwest England and Wales as well as the far south east. Another area of rain could affect northern England. Showers in Scotland, some of them heavy in central areas. Island is likely to be brighter with some sunny spells and a scattering of showers. High temperatures at 3 to 6C.
