Saturday
Starting chilly on Saturday. It will be a largely dry day with good spells of sunshine although with high pressure being squeezed off to the east expect increasing amounts of cloud through Ireland, Wales and south western parts of England. Patchy rain arrives over the far south of Ireland and the southwest of the UK through the late afternoon and spreads further inland through the evening and overnight. Highs at 8 to 11C in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and the north of England, 12 to 15C across the rest of England and Wales.

Saturday night
Cloud gradually increases throughout the UK although clear spells could last across the far east and far north where mist and fog don't form. The band of rain will push northwards across Northern Ireland and clear much of Ireland by dawn. Rain spreading across Wales and into central southern England too. Elsewhere it should stay dry. Chilly across northern and central Sotland with lows here at 2 to 5C. Lows between 6 and 9C across many other places but a mild night across the far south with lows here at 11 to 13C.

Sunday
A murky and damp morning across much of England and Wales as well as Northern Ireland with outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Cloudy across Scotland with rain in the west initially before spreading eastwards through the day. Improving conditions across southern England and Wales during the afternoon. Rain still further north but north eastern parts of Scotland could stay dry throughout. Parts of eastern England could also stay dry throughout the day. Mild across southern areas with highs here between 14 to 16C. Cooler further north with highs here ranging between 9 and 13C.

Monday
Low pressure continues to push over the UK on Monday seeing cloudy skies for many. It will also bring outbreaks of rain and drizzle over much of England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland and could be locally heavy over south Wales for a time. Rain intially across northern Scotland but this will clear. Rain and drizzle moving into mainly southern areas of Scotland later in the day. A mild day again for particularly southern areas with high temperatures range from 11 to 16C.
